How to use the Queue (tablet mode)

The Queue is a tool to help prep forms and documents for when the patient comes into the office.

Here are some scenarios where this feature is helpful.

Scenario 1: Allow Patients Complete Partially Finished Forms on Your In-Office Tablet

Sometimes patients don’t complete their entire packet before arriving at the office. Instead of having them start over, you can allow them to continue from where they left off.

Flow:

  1. Locate the incomplete Form/Packet under "Pending Items" on the dashboard or within the patient's account.
  2. Click into the Form/Packet, then select "Send to Queue" on the left side. (You can also remove it from the Queue using the same button.)

  3. Once it's sent to the queue, it will appear when you click the "Queue" button in Tablet Mode.

  4. The Queue will display all forms you've added.

Scenario 2: Prepping Forms Before the Patient Arrives

Some forms include "office use", questions that are completed by staff. The Queue allows staff to prepare these forms in advance before the patient arrives.

Flow:

  1. On your tablet, start a form/packet and click "pre-fill questions."

  • Once you've filled in all the necessary office-use questions, add the form/packet to the Queue. It will then be ready for the patient to complete their portion when they arrive for their appointment.
