Setting Up the Provider Field
To ensure the provider is correctly assigned and a chart can be created, you have two options:
Option 1: Let the Patient Choose the Provider
Create a question on your form asking, “Who is the patient here to see?”
- Provide a dropdown or selection field listing the available providers.
Retrieve The provider ID's from your Integration Settings. (In Zentake)
Settings>Integrations>Elation Settings
Assign a Provider to a User then you will be able to copy the Provider ID
Add the Elation ID's to the Integration Value field in the "Who are you here to see?" Question.
- The patient can then select their provider, which will automatically assign the chart to that provider.
Option 2: Set a Default Provider
- Configure your Elation settings to assign a default provider automatically. (reach out to support for this)
- All patients whose charts are created will be assigned to this default provider unless another provider is explicitly selected.
- The Assigned Provider will NOT change for existing charts
By following these steps, you can ensure that charts are created seamlessly in Elation when a form is completed.
If you chose to prevent any charts from automatically being created reach out to support and request this.
