Fields That Must Use a Text Question to work properly
The following Athena fields are managed as dropdowns within Athena and should not be built as choice-based questions in Zentake:
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Gender Identity
For these fields, create a Standard Text Question and map it to the Athena field.

Zentake will automatically fetch and display Athena’s allowed selections after the connection is made.
You can preview the form to see how these selections appear before sending it to patients.
