How to send a reminder for incomplete forms

Send a Manual Reminder
Follow these steps to manually remind patients to complete their forms:
- Step 1: Log in to your Zentake dashboard.
- Step 2: Under the "Pending Items" section, locate the form with the incomplete submission.
- Step 3: Click the arrow to the right of the form to open the options.
- Step 4: Choose to send a reminder via text or email.
This allows you to follow up on specific incomplete forms whenever needed.
Automate Form Reminders (Global)
If you'd rather automate the process, Zentake has a simple setup to automatically remind users when forms remain incomplete:
- Step 1: Navigate to the Settings section of your Zentake dashboard.
- Step 2: Scroll down to the Form Reminders section.
- Step 3: Set the number of days after which an automatic reminder should be sent if the form is not completed.
Automate Form Reminder For Specific Forms or Packets.
Zentake allows you to set automated reminders not just globally, but also for specific forms or packets, ensuring your patients stay on track with their paperwork. Follow these steps to customize reminders for individual forms or packets:
Step 1: Navigate to the Form or Packet
- Go to the Forms or Packets section of your Zentake dashboard.
- Select the specific form or packet you want to configure reminders for.
Step 2: Open Settings
- Click on the Settings for the selected form or packet.
- Look for the Custom Email and SMS Invitation within the settings panel.
Step 3: Enable Automated Reminders
Toggle the Custom Form Reminder Invite option to On.
Specify the timing of the reminders:

- Edit the default reminder message to suit your practice’s tone and branding.
Step 5: Save Changes
Click Save or Apply to ensure your custom reminder settings are active.
